Recently, I think about this...who are "THE MASSES"?

On business, the products need to fit in with "THE MASSES". On TV,newspaper...and so on, the contents should pander "THE MASSES".
But who are "THE MASSES"? And what kind of product,news ,or anything else are their favorite?

The techology developed quickly. People's mind were filled with the exciting,interesting...things. The products or news if didn't have originality or didn't have violence and sex, and then they will not attract people.
The feeling of the modern people is numb. Just like the people in "Fahrenheit 451"...

I just hope the world can be purer, not so disgusting, so sold, so cruel...


On the other hand, the vote is coming; the same, the will of the citizenry is from "THE MASSES"...
Can the number stand for the public opinion? or was "THE MASSES" mature enough to choice a leader?


Sometimes, I have a question...if there someone talked loud and let every know what is his thought, did his words stand for a group or for "THE MASSES"?


Just the number! The number (maybe made from the company or the government) always effect us. Like buying books, I always watch the hits, and bought the best seller book.THE MASSES maybe is true or maybe is made by someone(for their advantage).


One thing I interested in is "subculture"(次文化). May these kinds of culture become the mass culture one day? The change may be interesting... XD
