Do you remember last Saturday ,several students and old men in front of the house of minister Su's?
The view is that the police used power to chase them.The report said because they didin't apply the admittance.

Did they really want to against the law? And who are they? Why did they do this?

First, 樂生 is a place that ghettoize Hansen's disease patient in the days that the colonization of Japanese.
It is a place stand for a histiry of human rights, medical treatment ,and colonialism. It's a culture.

Second, they stand out just because their home will be demolished by the government now. The Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation will pass it.
But the students and some professional offered a project that can save 90% of it, but the government didn't pass the project(or even didn't discuss it.)

Third, they did not make representations first time. They did it so much times, like music concerts,to sit,offered the report to related governmnet office...
But they didn't use. So they do the thing last Saturday.

In fact, I didin't know it very well. But the picture of the police push the students and old men made me very sad and angry.
Is this the attitude of our government to handle a thing?

The class I went this Monday, the teacher said "the most important news of these days is the news of 樂生療養院,but the paper put it in A3 or local news."
It means that the mass media would cover the news and other city's people might not know it.

I'm very sad about it...
